Our new extension HOT Joomla Gallery is incorporated in this template. You can see how it works on this demo site. Usage is very simple. You need to enter path to your images and your gallery is ready. Control other parameters to make your gallery works better with your theme.

The "HOT Joomla Gallery" module by HotJoomlaTemplates.com is a fully configurable, simple gallery module, based on jQuery.

In module parameters, you have control over module display. You can enable or disable image descriptions. It's possible to change number of thumbnails. Images can be shown in "per name" or random order. Slide duration is configurable as well. Module colors are configurable. Unlike our other extensions, here you can't change module width and height. Module width and height are set automatically, based on resolutions of your images. So, please prepare images in a folder before publishing this module.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Open module parameters in Extensions > Module Manager > HOT Joomla Gallery. You'll see that some default parameters are already there. However, you should change some of them to accomodate module for usage on your site.

• LOAD JQUERY: Select wheter to load jQuery library or not. If your template already loads it, you may disable this to avoid possible javascript errors.
• FOLDER: Where your images are stored, relative to Joomla root directory.
• ENTER DATA: Fill this only if you need photos with description text. Otherwise, leave this empty and photos will be shown without description.
• SHUFFLE IMAGES: Select whether to randomize images order or not.
• TIMER: How long one photo will stay on screen. Time is in milliseconds.
• AUTO-SLIDE: Select whether to rotate photos automatically or not.
• GALLERY COLOR: Enter module's border color.
• ACTIVE THUMBNAIL BORDER: Border color of active thumbnail image.
• DESCRIPTION TEXT BACKGROUND COLOR: Self explanory.
• DESCRIPTION TEXT COLOR: Self explanory.

Joomla slide show of images located anywhere on your server

Hot Lightbox is Joomla Lightbox module that allows you to include series of images on web pages from any directory with images on your server. This module automatically creates thumbnails from your images, as per given parameters. All you need to do is to select a directory with your images and set styling parameters. What you need to do in order to make it work for your website?

1. Upload images you'd like to use with this module in a directory on your server (using Joomla Media Manager or FTP). Make sure the directory is writable.
2. Go to Module Manager and click HOT Lightbox. Publish the module on any module position of your template and set module parameters per your preference.
3. Under Module Styling set overall width and height of the module area. You can set overflow rule (if needed).
4. In the same area, you have parameters related to thumbnails border, padding and margin, as well as border colors.
5. The most important settings are under Thumbnails Settings. There you enter your directory with images. Also, you should set thumbnails width and height and thumbnails quality.

Joomla Lightbox module will do the rest for you. What actually it does?

Joomla Lightbox module automatically creates thumbnail images and save them in /thumbs subdirectory of your directory with images. Thumbnail images are created as per your parameters (dimensions and quality). The module will also create a Lightbox slide show. Click on any thumbnail image will open a larger image in the Lightbox pop-up. User can browse images (prev/next) in the pop-up while the rest of the website area will be faded out. Click on any point outside of the Lightbox slide show will bring the website back.
